Canberra Netball Centre | Northbourne Avenue

The Canberra Netball Centre, designed by Oztal Architects, stands as a vibrant hub for the community on Northbourne Avenue. Our mission was to transform the aging clubhouse into a state-of-the-art facility that reflects the values of the Canberra Netball Club.

This upgraded pavilion includes:

A multipurpose hall/viewing room for weekend sports and events

Meeting rooms, office spaces, change rooms, and amenities

A canteen and kitchen connected to an external covered BBQ area

The design features a striking facade along Northbourne Avenue, clear signage for easy wayfinding, and a roof that floods the interior with natural light. The main hall's spacious volume adds a grand feel, and the facade showcases the club's colors and imagery.

Funded by a grant and club fundraising, this project was a true community effort. The Canberra Netball Centre is a testament to the passion of the Canberra Netball Committee, our dedicated consultants, and community support. We are proud to have delivered this essential community asset, set to serve the netball community for years to come.
